In the Air Jordan 1 High on MushKicks collection, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Royal' 2026 brings back one of the original two-tone colorways of the first Air Jordan. The Royal is one of the combinations in which the AJ1 was introduced to the world, and every return is an event for those who love the OGs. Black and varsity royal blue, just like in 1985.
Like the original, the smooth leather upper combines a black base with varsity royal blue inserts on the toe, Swoosh, heel, and collar flap, where the Wings logo is embossed on the outside. The woven Nike Air label returns on the breathable nylon tongue. The white midsole, with an encapsulated Air unit, sits on a varsity royal blue rubber outsole.
Designed by Peter Moore, the Air Jordan 1 is the shoe that gave birth to Michael Jordan's line, and its original colorways remain the benchmark for any collection. The Royal 2026 is the AJ1 in its most essential form: two colors, smooth leather, and no superfluous details.
